USB

Postby vinodg on Mon Jun 02, 2008 4:31 am

Hi,

I have a Compaq nx6325 model laptop and now I got a strange problem to it.

No USB device is getting connected to it and its showing that mass storage control drivers are not found.

Even the printer and USB mouse are also not getting recognised. Please help me out of this.

I suppose you have some Windows installed in it ?

Does this happen to all of your USB ports?

I think you have to check device manager. your universal device connection may be uninstall? so check that point otherwise you to problem on USB port
Either your USB having a virus thats way become a problem,
Where there is will there is way.

According to you USB not detected it is surely a driver problem and you need to install latest drivers and than it will surely work without any problem.

Angelscrocher is right, it must be your USB drivers. You can check your control panel------> device manager------> USB. If there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point on it then you can verify our findings. You just have to go to hp's website and download the drivers suited for your laptop.
