The suspicions the National Security Agency has gone far beyond its mandate of gathering information for counter-terrorism and foreign intelligence purposes were confirmed when, on June 5, 2013, The Guardian released the first in a series of documents provided by Edward Snowden detailing the NSA’s unlawful spying activities.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has launched a searchable online database that contains all of the documents obtained by Edward Snowden and made public since last June. ACLU’s NSA Documents Database tool is an up-to-date, complete collection of previously secret NSA documents made public since last June. The database is designed to be easily searchable. It is like Google for NSA documents. If you are a researchers or journalist, this is a good resource for you.
