This is a tear-down of one TT6061A based touch dimmer that could not handle touch and failed (static electricity killed it). This dimmer module manufactured by Eaglerise was found inside a desk lamp.
Inside view
The construction inside looks pretty OK. There is a proper normal fuse there (tiny ceramic fuse) and also over-temperature protection fuse. There is RF filtering coil to filter dimmer noise. There way the touch wire is connected to rest of the circuit looks OK, meaning properly rated capacitors isolating touch wire from mains parts and proper insulation distance from touch wire to rest of circuit board.
A quick measuring around the circuit did not reveal anything easy to repair thing that would be failed (like fuse or bad soldering). I suspect that the control IC failed, and so this device is not worth to try to repair.
The control IC in the circuit board is TT6061A:
When taken quick look circuit seems to be quite close to this example circuit from TT6061A datasheet with fed additions (for example noise filtering coil and adapted to 230V AC).

Very good! But do you see a Chines as “touch dimmer 3 ways” ? It’s also used ic TT6061 A but very cheap , please upload their schematic so we can compare what different between these articles. Thanks
