SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer) is a GUI to many video tools. If you need a simple, yet very efficient tool to convert (encode) any Multimedia file, without reading manuals or spending long hours training, then SUPER © is all you need. The supported tools include o FFmpeg, MEncoder, MPlayer, x264, musepack, monkey’s audio, true audio, wavpack, ffmpeg2theora and the theora/vorbis RealProducer plugIn. SUPER runs on Windows and the installation packet includes both GUI and the needed video encoding/decoding tools.
Other useful program is VLC media player. It is a cross-platform open-source multimedia framework, player and server. I use this normally for video playback. VLC is capable of reading most audio and video formats, also various streaming protocols. It also can also be used as a media converter or a video stream server.
