Kyll� tuo aallonpituus ilmassa pit�� paikkaan, vaan kaapelissa
tuo signaali liikkuu l�hes valonnopeudella (tyypillisesti jotain
0.5-09 kertaa valonnopeus), joten aallonpituudeksi kaapelissa
20 kHz taajuuksille tulee hrlposti toistakymment� kilometria.
