CD is muuch better in reproducing bass signals than vinyl. Vinyl has quite much limitations in bass end. Beacuse of those limitations, it might be necessary to do different kinf of mastering for vinyl and CD (this means that the bass must be limited to be within the capabilitied of vinyl). > it's about the same with CD ==> mp3.
