This application sounds quite similar to the typical DJ setup for DJ who spins CDs. There DJ CD players (Denon 2700 ??) which can change the tempo and pitch independently of each other. So with such CD player you can do what you want with the pitch and tempo. You need to have a small mixer and enough practice to put song seemlesly together. Then you need a good tape player where you record your final results. Another option is to use some PC based system. You need to have a sound card and suitable sound editing software to do that. You first transfer the music from the CD to the hard disk and then use the editing software to change the pusic and put them together. Then you just play back that combined file through the sound cards to your tape deck. Links to some sound editing programs can be found at http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/pc/sound.html#software (I don't know if any of those have nice pitch changing functions, because I have not needed them). -- Tomi Engdahl (http://www.iki.fi/then/) Take a look at my electronics web pages at http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/
