Intercom Clone Project presented at http://www.rcrowley.com/intercom/ seems to be the best on the topic I know of.This project is a home-built "clone" of the industry standard analog production intercom system. (i.e. Clearcom, etc.). I have not personally tested this, bit this seems to be very promising. For more intercom related information take a look at the links at http://www.epanorama.net/intercom.html > I am thinking (perhaps) of something that might utilize the readily > available and inexpensive computer headset/microphones that run $5-$10. I do nothave any ready plans to give on this. I have experiemented somewhat with the idea of this. I have built some prototypes on this line. They still need some working on before being used in heavy use or published... I built my own designs to be compatible with the "Clearcom" system and used in in one show together with existing "Clearcom" system. > This would allow the crew to provide the headset, and jack it into a > house-connected ptt switch and headset connector.
