The computer on the UK end has right type of microphone which works with the soundcard well and recording level settings set right, so you get the sound from there well. > However, > my voice is either hardly heard, or breaks up. Why is this? You have something wrong woth your computer setting or the UK end has it's listening volume too low. The problem on the UK end can be sorted out by checking if the sound works well in calls between some other site and UK. If the other end were PC this check would be necessary, but because in this case you are using ready made service I would quiess that they have set up thing more or less well anyway. > Why is the sound the other way so good? That system has all the signal lelvels set correctly, has hardware which works together as expected and is configured right way. -- Tomi Engdahl (http://www.iki.fi/then/) Take a look at my electronics web links and documents at http://www.epanorama.net/
