Matrox (www.matrox.com) makes this kind of card like G400/G450 Dual Head.
I have heard good feedback on those products from collegues and
think that my next video card could be Matrox dualhead model.

What are those vendors and how much do they cost ?
I don't own HDTV set, but need converters for different applications
sometimes. And I maintain a FAQ on interfacing PC video cards to
different special monitors (this color space conversion has been
asked from me few times).

I would recommend Matrox. At least their card used to have
very good configuration options and I have heard good
words on their cards available nowadays.

I have tried to collect HDTV interfacing information to
http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/faq/vga2rgb/interfacing.html#vga_hdtv
It is not complete, but could be helpful.
