How about video signal amplifier with two or more outputs. 
Feed tha signal from Harman Kardon to that, and the two separate 
outputs one to TV and other to projector. 
Now you can look at the video signal on any of the displays, 
or both of them at the same time as you wish. 
No more changes in wiring needed to change where signal goes. 
Just turn the display devices on as you need them. 

I think this would be the best solution to do what you want.
