Does anyone know chip(s) that will do that? Just sum up the Y and C components together and this is done. I once saw a circuit at Elector Electronics magazine which does this. It just consisted of a mixer circuit made of two resistors followed by a video amplifier. Onother hack idea (not the best but works as emergencysolution) is to connect a small capacitor (100pF..10nF) between Y and C wires and then take the composite video from Y output. This somehow works. The size of the capacitor has some effects on the picture quality. Bigger capacitor lets more color signal through but messes up more the high frequencies in Y signal (you will loose details). -- Tomi Engdahl (http://www.iki.fi/then/) Take a look at my electronics web pages at http://www.hut.fi/Misc/Electronics/
