I am working on an ROV (submarine) that needs to send a colour analog video signal over 500 ft of UTP Cat 5. I have done this before in the same application but purchased some baluns for $2 each. For this new ROV I would like to work that circuitry into my own PCB to save room in the ROV. There will be no power wires beside the UTP to the surface. I need it to be very simple and ideally under $2 per end. I have 5V on the controller and 19.2,12 & 5V on the ROV. The purchased baluns I used were passive so they did not required power. The camera I use is a $12 product, so it is not HD or anything. I think is is 420 lines.
Any help is appreciated. The only thing I have found so far is a setup on this webpage, but I'm not sure what power requirements it needs.
