Have You seen this and the links to girder? the same IR Girder plugin is available from winamp sites too.

i have a final test to make a program that can control winamp with sony remote control. i am using port usb to connect ir receiver, but i am in trouble how to capture a signal from my remote so my program can know what button i was pressed. can anyone hel me please..thanks
