Enter the code exactly as it appears. All letters are case insensitive, there is no zero.

Nortel BCM400 - Call Hold Timer??

Post by Rasfada on Thu Aug 24, 2006 12:46 am

Hi All,

I have a BCM400 R3.6 installed in the small Real Estate office I work for. Recently, our property managers have complained that calls they receive from the operator and place on 'Hold' [using the Hold button] are bouncing back to the operator.

I have simulated inbound calls to the office asking the operator for a tranfer to random extensions asking to be put on hold and found that my calls would start ringing the operator's set after about 3 minutes. Is there any way of extending the 'Hold Timer', is there such a parameter and where do I go to program this setting?

As always, any help and quick response is dearly appreciated!

Thanks,

Ras Fada
