One idea. Write a paper on digital TV broadcasting technologies and how they are advancing.
The most widely used digital TV broadcasts system has bee based on MPEG2 video compression
and DVB-T (terrestrial) , DVB-C (cable TV) and DVB-S (satellite) modulation standards.

Nowadays with the introduction of HDTV transmission the new systems start to use
MPEG4/H.264 video compression and there are new modulations coming.
DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 versions are ready and new DVB-C2 is under development.

Describe the current systems in use and describe why they are such as they as they are.
Then describe what are the reasons why the industry is pushing to take new systems in use
(what are the technical benefits and market reasons).

In case your country is just starting the shift from analogue to digital TV system, then
one good idea would be to compare the old analogue transmissions to the new digital TV signals.
