This is great!! Because of the economic climate I fear we won't be seeing this kind of disply this year. Fear not! If you invest in quality low voltage lights you can probably pull off a great display without hurting your electric bill. Info at: http://www.lowvoltagechristmaslights.com

Happy Hollidays!

This my first post so bear with me. I would like to give a tremendous thanks to epanorama.net for the info they have posted. Allowed us to put old computers back to work (without MS). My most recent project, we will use the parallel port to control eight light strings with freebasic/linux box on the xmas tree. It will not be fancy, but it will be interesting. Already written twenty different routines that can be easily shuffled with a batch file. Plan to do twenty more for variety. Whole show will last about ten minutes. May also use the home automation web code to make things more interesting. Anyway a big thanx.
