pic18f1220 an589 programming

can pic18f1220/1320 be programmed with an589 programmer with a DOS software?in windows i know that's possible(ic-prog).if yes, where can i find this dos software(i saw that ludipipo supports many programmers,but not 18fxxx).i'm asking why ,because 18f1220 has the same number of pins, an the programming pins are the same. can you help me or give a answer?
