how to build remote control air vent powered by solar panel?

need help about building a remote control air vent powered by solar panel which can be use to open and close air vent?If possible,using DC.I also willing to pay for the electronic circuit diagram.Please help me,I need to build as a gift.

Hi,

You will already need a solenoid or whatever to do the opening / closing of the vent.

If you already have this then the easiest way is to get a prebuilt RF or IR module. Most will run from solar with a small battery with no problem. They will be easy to wire, and have a set of relay contacts to connect to your solenoid / motor.
