Remote control lock out

Postby sobo75 on Tue Jan 06, 2004 10:34 pm

Our school has a Mitsubishi big screen TV model VS-5002R. We wanted to hook up a DVD to it but the remote won't let us switch to video mode. It says "Use the 10-keypad to enter your personal code". We have no idea what our personal code is set at. Is there any way to wipe it out and reset it? Thanks for any help you can be.

Find your TV's remote control and owner's manual. Accessing your TV's menu options is easier with a remote.Go to the "V-Chip Setup" section of your owner's manual. This will tell you which remote control buttons to use when navigating your TV's menu.Try to unlock it as described.
